I’m doing solo, and I just can’t find a good seed I like, that has swamp connections to other biomes and I can’t find a good spot for a permanent base brBut this game is awesome and can’t wait to get better at it

Sweet I feel you are lucky that you have a group to play with; Ive only ever played solo I cant seem to get my friends to try Valheim, I guess they feel the graphics are not to their liking brbrI did actually join a server just to log in, cut down wood and collect stone, get mushrooms and berries from both the base and dark forest when I first started, but they shut down their server for some reason If you are still playing and wouldnt mind having someone log in from time to time to fill up your storage (I work at Marvel so dont get the opportunity to do the big stuff anymore :( ) contact me, I know that stuff feels tedious for others but I find it relaxing after a long day of art lol

I’m very new to this game, but I’m loving everything about it, one thing i don’t understand is how to make bigger bases, with such a small workbench radius, do I need to make multiple workbenches, is there a way to make the radius larger? I really don’t get it, rn I’m confined to a little house so I could keep room for my walls and farms

As someone who hates sailing I use a mod which allows me to craft 3 other portals which allows me to transport more and more ores and ingots, but they are costly in ressources The mod is called "Advanced Portals" by RandyKnapp I still build harbors with ships on my bases for visual reasons

I have my portal hubs underneath the Elder locations, and the double as invincible afk bases brNeed to afk and pass some time without worrying about getting raided and defending base?brJust travel to invincible, completely enclosed portal hub and set your bone mass timer :)

Once I wanted to make a safe from stone and with moat around I've made quite big castle, well positioned on the hill, near swamp and plains biome Sadly I forgot about building it near river/canal/sea, so I gotta make a new one I've also made numerous canals to shorten 'sea travel' so having a dock in your base is crucial Don't make this mistake again guys!
