I am from Lake Charles, LA in the USA Thankfully, we missed the Hurricane(Ida) that was at the other side of the state! Your videos are both informative and inspirational I have a nice size(approx 6" high and 6" wide) jade that I bought about a month ago from a local nursery It was doing fine until I overwatered it I knew immediately what was wrong as it began dropping leaves that appeared swollen and were blackened I removed the plant from its black growers plastic pot and put the root ball into a terra cotta clay pot I didn't change the soil, however I took the root ball out and let it dry on some newspaper for about 2 hours only I should have left it out longer to dry I know that now Like I said, it was "potted up" into a slightly larger pot I only added some dry desert commercial mix(Miracle Gro brand) to backfill it I'm keeping my fingers crossed that it rebounds You've given me hope and encouragement Thanks again for the good info

Hey, so my jade (not jade actually, as I came to know by watching this video) was dying There is no leaf left, I tweeted for help and a friend referred your video And it's very helpful It's monsoon season and have watered it too much I guess

Hello Whimsy Crafter, I am watching from the great city of Manhattan, New York City, thee United States Of America So let me tell you why I tuned into your channel My husband and I have been plant sitting a Jade plant for almost two years now we have no experience with this type of plant, and it's breaking my heart to see that she's not thriving My apt lacks sunlight any advice, her leaves are falling off and the stem seem to be reaching for the sky what can I do to help her?
