You have to pay for the hue sync app on via the windows store on your desktop and you need a google account so won’t work for iOS users This isn’t good

The pc program is super picky about the display modes for multi monitors it will not sync with duplicated monitors (laptop to TV) and I have had hit or miss luck with Extending the primary display There is room for improvement

Hi Tech Chap, just wondering, can I use this for audio sync only? Like if there are footsteps or shooting on either the left side or right side, the lamp will light up? I need help, ive had the app downloaded on my pc before i restored it, but for some reason when i try to install the app now the "install wizard" says:br"the wizard was interrupted before Hue Sync could be completely installedbrYour system has not been modified To complete installation at another time, please run setup again"brDoesnt give me an option to go back to choose download folder destination nothing bronly options the installer gives me is "finish" or "show windows installer log" and i know nothing of codes brAny help would be greatly appreciated!!

Does anyone have any advice on connection problems? My wireless laptop finds the bridge instantly but my desktop PC ( wired to the same rooter as the bridge ) can not find the bridge at all, I've also tried manually inputting the bridge IP address too but it still fails to find it, I really want this set up! any help appreciated !

I bought it few days ago and i am a little bit dissapointedLed strips can actualy make just one color at the same timeIt cant split colors according what you really see on the screen if you for example imagine that you have fire scene on the left of the screen and green jungle on the other oneYou need theese lamps and set them to right positionSofor better experience and wow effect is better to invest to these lamps firstsecond to the led strip at my opinion

I ve got a question, must be the sync app in the computer on at all time, or can u just have u hue app on your phone only on after pairing the pc app with your light equipment, I have different entertainment areas and I wasn't thinking to bring my huge pc to every single room every time I want it to synchronize, in addition, I dont really want to have my pc on if im not going to play on it Thanks!

UPDATE: This DOES NOT work with chromecast yet It only mirrors what's playing on the laptop/computer Since whatever your casting, audio or video, is no longer playing through on your laptop/computer it won't be synced The program that's on your laptop/computer that's syncing with the hue lights, is not on TV or chromecast So therefore, it don't work

I love this and I have chromecast I'm going to see if this works I just wish that I had the 4K chromecast so I can watch in 4K They gotta add this to Samsung TV's and PS4 Pro with an update So I won't have to sacrifice my 4K just for a light show And i wanna see this on my big screen not my computer monitor
