So my angel wing begonias are about 5 ft tall and there healthy and beautiful and some started flowering again but there taking over my apartment and I've propergated multiple times and gave some to friends but there so full and large I also have it in a beer metal pot with handles I had to get creative I couldn't find an affordable large pot and the handles come in handy brI have bamboo stacks as support but its so heavy and when I water it the souls so loose what should I do to give it proper support?brOr should I just cut more off and have more babies

Beautiful polkadot! Just wanted to give you a little insight on repotting The breaking up and rinsing of the root system is pretty unnecessary with these Just lightly shake the excess off and repot They will flurish and expand (slowly as they do) without the excess mess

I just received a rooted cutting of the polka dot begonia and placed it in soil and sat it near a grow light I noticed the plant looks droopy! I assume it's going to take a few days to get used to the pot Can you tell me if this is normal?

You have the prettiest Begonia Maculata Wightii I've ever seen Mine has dropped 3 healthy leaves and has 2 browning leaves while a new one is unfurling, makes me wonder if the root system can't care for more leaves than it has now :( I hope mine gets as big and beautiful as yours one day

I've had my polka dotted begonia for 4 months It has grown a bit in height (about 5cm) but it has gone a lot bushier It had about 10 leaves when I got it, it's got 24 now 😇brIncluding the pot it's at 30cm in total height now I am looking forward to when it gets this tall

When you root the cuttings in water do you cover it with one of the bell jars? Or leave it out? I got cuttings from a friend and I dipped in rooting hormone and put in dirt with a zip lock bag over them and they wilted!

Ok so My Begonia maculata I got from Etsy It was a barely rooted cutting I threw it in some really good soil w pearlite, peat moss and watered it good like you said I have an Amazon cheapie grow light that I've been keeping on some of the plants and it seems like it is totally indifferent? It looks bleached out, sad and is becoming crispy I hope I'm not killing it? I have some Harris organic fish fertilizer- would fertilizer perk it up, ya think? It's in indirect sunlight but from what I'm hearing about it liking humidity, it may not be in a humid enough spot Maybe I could move it outside to a shady spot on my plant shelf? I just LOVE this plant Sooo beautiful I love how full yours looks Hopefully mine will get there?
