I watch this and realize that's why keyboard seems so unnaturalbrLurch-less, unoptimized movement on controller when me and my friends decided to take turns getting hammered by pros ingrained the smooth ass movement of analog and not choppy quick and swift movement of digital brdamn here I thought I would be better on keyboard I am it's just embarrassing to have my movement be worse than when I held down forward all the time in public lobbies trying to hit a flying ejected pilot with an EPG when I'm actually trying to move around and bonking my head on everything due to 6 years of neuron activation

a tip from me is that you can bind grenades to middle mouse button (thats clicking it in, not scrolling with it) i would imagine you can bind anything you like to it, but im not sure im equally unsure if people would actually like those controls lmao

fun fact: the whole slide right out of a climb thing exists beyond just apex legends i imagine glide would work in the same way, but it seems like just sliding isn't nearly as forgiving as the apex legends version

I know this is a year old But at that time the Elite controller is out and you can remap all your buttons Hell! You can use a controller and mouse at the same time (This is how I play) But when I get lazy I just use the controller Through using the combo really changes how you play the game You should check it out

I'm so glad I found this video I'm pretty novice when it comes to the movement in this game, I can slidehop and bhop pretty consistently, but I've been making the mistake of assuming that this game plays exactly like Team Fortress 2 and trying to airstrafe at those speeds I've noticed the strafe lurch, but could never pin down what caused it until now Thanks!

It drives me up the wall when people call a fork of source which is a fork of quake engine "a source game" The titanfall engine is definitely based on source but much of the movement quirks of source are derived from the quake to begin with It's inaccurate
