Also, test takers are most likely to dismiss option E, despite it being the correct answer, in the last question because it uses the exact words as the passage It is very likely for a test taker to misinterpret the option as a 'trap' Could you please help me understand why we choose option E over option D? thank you Comment from : 76_Sushyanth Sridhar |
Could someone please help me understand why option D: cast doubt on neuroscientists' conclusion incorrect? The writer of the passage does seem doubtful regarding the temporal relation , right? Comment from : 76_Sushyanth Sridhar |
there's gre and gmat in the name gregmat I can't unsee this fact now Comment from : Irsheen Baveja |
Hi! Could I ask why the first answer of the last question cannot be chosen? I don’t quite understand that … Thanks Comment from : Jenny Li |
By looking and following your techniques it looks so easy and all but either these passages in the video and questions are too easy or the one in "gre verbal reasoning book" are too difficult, the questions there are not even asking straighforward questions as mentioned here unfortunately and its discouraging to observe it sadly :( Comment from : fahad jabbar |
This is so wonderful sir! Comment from : Bless Agboli |
Omg thank you for this!! Comment from : exoticPash88 |
I am completely puzzled about the answer of 22 Is it E or D Are classical findings surprising or doubtful? The passage ostensibly states that the later research findings are surprising and they contradict with the classical ones I may be mistaken please, remove my confusion Comment from : gehendra koirala |

So this is so interesting to see the overlaps/differences with what I recommended for RC: we share my stop and summarising/your simplifying the sentence But I am curious, do you find recommending such copious note-taking slows students down? I push for reading slower but no notes It's the biggest debate/controversy in RC tutoring I guess! Comment from : The Tested Tutor |
I'm surprised and amazed how he made a connection from Michael to Reading comp Comment from : Monitha Davuluri |

whoever tries to make their field esoteric and unreachable intentionally is already out of job Because the 21st century world doesn't hear to such people This is why Richard Feynman is the most beloved Nobel prize winning scientist and Elon Must is most savage billionaire That said, you and I can whine all day about these dry RCs, but ETS people won't change the GRE So better watch GREGMAT's video and Just do it Swallow it like the greensbrbrBut honestly, Solving an RC feels like swimming through bull shit Comment from : DJ |

Hi, Greg I got one question for reading how to deal with "according to" detail questions and "infer" questions? I noticed that some of the "infer" questions are similar to "according to" questions but I am not sure what strategy should I deploy (ie paraphrasing the information in the passage or making some deduction based on the information in the passage? ) Comment from : wu eric |
