I purchased the Focus I've had it for 4 months now and it is a lovely car Looks are subjective of course but I think its rather handsome It is a joy to drive The combination of the 1 litre engine, the mild hybrid set up, and the 7 speed auto all gels together to give a seamless driving experience Fuel consumption is excellent, which is in the mid 50s The sync 4 infotainment is just brilliant and having a lot of the controls built into it makes for a very attractive and simplistic looking cabin A great all round car

The Astra has the coolest exterior styling The Golf has the nicest interior for a small hatch The Civic is the most grown up, it punches above its weight, more like an Accord The Civic is a family saloon that just happens to have a hatch The only downside to the Civic is its bloated price tag, but you are paying for Honda reliability, I suppose

This is a generation of cars that I'm going to skip (not applicable to the civic) The lack of buttons or knobs to basic functions like climate control is absurd and annoying! Answering a phone call or controlling the temperature should not make you take your eyes of the road! I'll keep my Golf mk7 for as long as I can It has the right amount of technology

Like the honda civic and the ford focus the best, both nice cars an both have dials for climate control which is better than faffing around with a touchscreen lol, I think all cars should have buttons or dials for climate made compulsory it's alot safer
