i want to make something like this in a world i have, but a conundrum im having is that i also want the machine to either stop eventually or move backwards once its inventory is full, though im unsure if thats possible

How did you move the entire contraption all at once? Does right clicking a minecart attached to it pick the whole thing up?

What if you add a deployer with torches or any other light source blocks so you don't have to run along for light

i did a very similar machine but i added deployers with stone so it clears lava and water in front of it , but when i try to make it go and mine it allways keeps rotating left for some reason

So I don’t know why but my deployers won’t deploy rails or cobble when it’s active edit:so I don’t know why but I moved it to a different tunnel and it started working so I’ve deemed the first one the cursed tunnel

I got it to work first try, placed it down in my mines and now it doesnt workbrbrThe thing powers on, but even with direction lock it goes sideways/diagonal, and the minecart just doesnt move even when powered Its so extremely frustrating as I just spend the past few hours gathering resources (Andesite was super rare for whatever reason) just for it to not work

Pointed dripstone stopped the contraption (because it couldn't lay down a block on it and the drill didn't hit it because it was below it), but I guess that's not something very common :) Thanks for this explanation

I’m at a loss, I start the machine fine, put one piece of coal in it and it goes just as I want, but as soon as it runs out and I try to put in another piece of coal it decides to go backwards and has a freak out Any ideas anyone?

I realy like this turorial just I am using 1192 version of create and if my drill goes it will stop after minit cus it dont have coal anymore, can I automaticly refuel it somehow? Thanks!

Deosil25 awesome tutorial I made a similar build, but shorter I am not able to get my deployers to lay down stone and or rails Everything is glude and one I get my cart furnance some coal, it starts to move Drills work just not the deployers

why are the deployers not placing the rails? i put it on lock rotation and im sure that i placed them correctly and i even added 10 rails into the barrel, but it never places the rails

Created similar, but 3*3 variant I dont think 5*5 make a huge difference due to the mechanics of ore spawning Im using the mining corridor the bore machine produces mainly to access new caverns Also the bore machine doesnt disassemble rails, tunnel feels more natural with rails staying (however, the iron cost increases, but im okay with it)

So i did my machine 3x5 and it worked but now for some reason the rails are being put with a curve so the machine gets all messed upbrEdit: i realize i forgot to put the cart assembler on lock position

It will break if a stream of water or lava wash away the rails There are improved versions of this mechanism, with protection against this
