I think it's fine to let the TIEs fly around with one wing missing I remember a lot in the X-Wing books they'd talk about hitting the hexagon panels but not making a kill; without resorting again to a bunch of smaller blocks that make up the panels to simulate this letting them fly around sans one is probably the best compromise Comment from : A Wolfe
