The actual problem is that the cost of living is so badeven if they wanted to get off the streets (which a lot of them don't), they couldn't aford to anyways Even at $25 an hour? Rent is 1700-2k a month Thats about 3k just to live right now You need to make $30 an hour just to go to work and go home right now (Average entry wage is over $15 an hourdon't act like $10 is the average wage; $1825 at target, $20 at McDonald's, Walmart 16-18, gun store 18-20 etc etc Not that that is enough to live off of) Comment from : @dutch0770 |

The entire state of Florida is jam packed with stiff necked wealthy people who have absolutely no heart Greedy, selfish, self centered, opinionated and out of touch with reality But in the same breath not all wealthy people are this way There are actually some people and organizations that will help the homeless That being said, some help organizations are just robbing the homeless There are some homeless folks who dont do drugs or drink Those people get less help If a homeless person isnt a druggie or a drunk, they are put at the back of the list for help Some christian help organizations are fake Christians All they are doing is praying on the less fortunate Comment from : @donald1841 |

Personally, I see more homelessness and people talking to themselves because they are more introverted personalities dealing with isolation and single minded issues These people can’t cope or adapt well with being with other people There’s allot of people who never thought much about themselves being vulnerable until they hit rock bottom needed to get back the basic necessities an have no reliable people they can trust or they can be trusted with Few social connections with any friends and family members Comment from : @1powerequalsgod |

Gambling and addictions can cripple finances Its all about money management, even if you only make say 30K a year but you can manage it better than 90 of the people out there, you'll survive while the guy who makes 150K a year with gambling and addictions gets wrecked It's not just about simply having money because that can be lost very easily Comment from : @moonshinefuel |

This is whyhomeless tend to camp out near fast food places, convience stores, restaurants - they dumster dive for food to eat, plus beg for money for drugs or alcohol Pizza places throw whole pizzas away at the end of shifts, I ve seen 30 to 50 whole pizzas thrown in dumsters at end of an evening shift Still warm, still in boxes Took them to rainbow gathering in the woods in Ocala,Fl They turned me on to this, i had a car, they did not Those pizzas tasted good Yummy Comment from : @DennisRoberts-sv4hi |
