Blockchains are just a data structure based off linked lists which are commonly used and useful in technology :), the most interesting thing about bitcoin is thats its a meshing of old technology to create something great The parts that are used to build bitcoin are not new and are used in their own ways in everyday tech Merkle trees, sha256, linked, doubly linked lists etc :)

Would totally like to get into BTC as one of my wealth holders That said, the disadvantage I see for BTC is the convoluted approach one has to use to get it, store it, & use it when compared to fiat, gold, silver For those of us that are "older than dirt"/not tech savvy/have only button phones/have ancient laptop computers, the complicated methods of getting BTC & with no KYC like one does for cash or metals, puts BTC in a frame that folks won't use (ie, it's complicated to use) And that's what the "Federal" Reserve/central bank is counting on

My friends, if you do not have a hardware wallet yet, and you have BTC on an exchange, use a software wallet in the interim I personally recommend Sparrow, but there’s plenty of other good wallets, all of which are much safer than letting an exchange hold them Withdraw to software wallet Order hardware wallet Transfer to hardware wallet once it arrives
