Philips hue no longer works with echo It’s a developing problem Amazon has no answers I’m sorry I got started with this mess They said they would call me in 5 days Also I think the Amazon representative tried to scam me He wanted $150 as a one time fee to set up my sound bar I said no and that’s when all the trouble started Amazon told me to check my credit card There is no one time fee to add up to 5 smart home devices So far Amazon has been absolutely no help and blames hue I would not buy either until this mess is sorted out I’m not the only one Comment from : @havfunwithit |

Hi there!
brFirst of all I got Alexa (3nd generation) according the shipment, but when I did the set up, I´ve got 2nd generations instaled on my phone I did this twice and alwayes the same issue It is this normal?
brAfter that I´m strugling to put Alexa working with the bulbs I buyed 2x single philips bulb E27, but when I click in "enable to use" there is a message saying that I have no brigde Do I need a brigde to control the lamps?

I had my hue bridge set up with out of home control and was working great The Hue skill was added to my other smart home platforms and everything was working well together That is until the Meethue API decided to lose connection to my bridge For some reason now when I attempt to connect the out of home control portion of the hue app to my hue bridge it says that it can’t find a hue bridge and to make sure the bridge and the device I’m on are on the same network, which they absolutely are I even tried a different bridge but same thing I tried another device and same thing I’ve looked into the issue and did many suggestions stated online including enabling upnp on router I even found a link you can click on to make sure the bridge can communicate with the outside internet and the test came back negative Not sure what to do but I would really like my out of home control back Comment from : @Farfignewton29 |

I bought the newest Echo Plus last week Do I need the “Hue Bridge” in order to use other services, such as Wyze Sensors and IFTTT, with my Echo Plus to control lights, etc? I keep trying to setup and connect the Hue Skill to my Echo Plus, but Hue just says it can’t find the “Hue Bridge,” and will not let me go any farther Within the Hue website, I tried to Discover Amazon Alexa devices—but nothing happened I was told by the salesman that with the Echo Plus I didn’t need the “Hue Bridge” because the “Hub” is built into the Echo Plus This begs the question: Is the “Hub” inside the Echo Plus the same as the external “Hue Bridge”? @all things tech I have 3 echo dots One each in separate rooms Can I not just use these dots to control the lights in the particular they are in?
