Hi, i know its late but better for soil and all unndergroud biom is not to pull out plants with roots but to leave roots in ground and cut plants right over soil (if you dont eat their roots ofcorse)

It was a video that made me feel comfortable and happy to see the garden decorated and growing plants in the yard because it was so environmental and clear! The process of turning the yard into a garden by myself was so much fun and interesting! I prefer raising small animals as it can contribute to improving the atmosphere

Those zip ties only last a couple of seasons I’d get some heavy wire and twist that on I bought heavy duty zips that were supposed to last yrs and they do not Maybe inside but not outside You can use Borax power to get rid of insects Besides that it’s safe I’m not sure about chickens earring it though

While having a watering system is great, your rot is a good example of why it's not always dependable I self water all my plants It takes longer, but I find it relaxing and I can check on all my plants while doing itbrBut beautiful garden! I wish I had a bigger yard to create something like this

you should consider investing in some compost for amending vegetable beds, the soil isnt holding water and straw mulch will not be a long term fix
