This would also work on the Google Chromecast with Google TV I also recommend a powered USB hub with ethernet micro SD

Mind blown, I didn't know that you could use an OTG adapter on this thing! I tried emulation on mine, but the storage space was so limited as to only allow a handful of games on it at any given time so I gave up It's cool that you can use pretty much any bluetooth controllers with it though including the Switch Joycons and Pro Controllers!

You don't need to use a thumb drive if you don't have/don't want to buy a OTG adapter I haven't tested these but you should be able to use wireless file transfer (like FTP) or use the downloader app on the fire stick
