Warm light casts cool shadows, cool light casts warm shadows Add gradients to your shadows, too Wouldn't use one color shadows on more realistic art either, it looks pretty flat sometimes Having shadows implies having light, but doesn't always show it, also draw the lighting itself too

How do you draw so lightly and it’s not all faded? When I draw, I have to keep it exactly upright and add additional pressure to get an actual line and not some faded one
