Thank you for your effort Our sweet Chow Husky mix is not well, no idea what, thousands of dollars of medications and diagnostics with no answer The broth is a really good idea to keep them hydrated I have tried fresh chicken, lean ground beef, beef liver…you name it It is a daily struggle But your ideas are great

Hi, great information I do the white rice thing right now for my pregnant lab who has completely lost her appetite for any kind of commercial dog food She loves cooked chicken and beef though, so I make it for her and mix with rice Am hoping this doesn't conflict with any carb to protein requirements needed for her and the puppies' development in the womb

My one year old Yorkie had to go to the er vet last week due to a severe allergic reaction to fire ant bites He evidentally picked up something at the vet, because he started throwing up and diarreah on Thanksgiving I took him to the vet yesterday and they diagnosed with gastroenteritis and gave antibiotics and anti nausea meds He is not sick anymore, but will not eat or drink anything I have tried the rice, chicken stock, and boiled chicken, and he just turns his nose and clinches his mouth What do you do when they will not eat anything you offer them?

My golden just turned 145 on Nov 26thHe has kidney failure, so say the testsHe's now hardly eating at all I'm not known for giving up easily, on anything, especially him One thing I've noticed by reading some of the comments, is that many dogs are only interested in treats, especially the cheaper main stream brand name "stuff" I have experienced the same thing I myself would have never fed him any "junk food", but the entire neighborhood loves him too, so he learned how to mooch cookies He would often sit for an hour or more at the end of our driveway, patiently waiting and hoping for a treat The rest of the story is too long, so long story short I have long since suspected, and would not be surprised to find out, that "they" have been adding some type of addictive "doggy drug" chemical , in order to increase sales, and therefore the bottom line of the major shareholders Just sane I could be wrong

After trying what we thought was everything to get our diabetic dog to eat so we could give her insulin, we watched this We bought a syringe 💉 like the one in the video, got some diabetic pate, mixed with broth, and were able to get her to eat one ounce We are going to try again in one hour Awesome 👌

We're in this together My dog lost her appetite too and spits out food when forced fed She's been like this on and off, but noticed it's been happening more since late last year Just a few weeks ago she was back eating as normal, which just happened on its own Now she's picky again Don't know what went wrong Sometimes she eats a few pieces chicken but won't finish the whole meal She eats treats without hesitation tho Raised this issue with her vet in Feb and the test results say she's healthy I so hope she gets her appetite back soon We're in quarantine Don't know what to do anymore

No no no i tried a big syringe to squirt in his mouth and he kept avoiding it Got in his eyes and up his nose but nothing made it into his mouth If the dog can't eat, he can't and won't eat You just have to take him to the vet to feed him intravenously I love all these chicken and rice videos and they're all bullcrap

I’ll try the broth with the dry food but my dog doesnt want to eat I feel devastated because she has lost weight My dog is a 14 year old chihuahua Shes very old and delicate and i just feel very frustrated We have given her rice, chicken, potato, turkey, basically almost anything she craves when she sees us eating because we’re so desperate to see her eat again and get some weight back in herbrbrThe only way her appetite comes back is when the vet gives her some sort of vitamin shot It boosts up her appetite like crazy But imagine going to the vet a LOT just for a shoti will try the broth method Thank you so much If anyone has some other recommendation i’ll gladly take them 💕
