There are very few thrifts that are truly non-profits I don't love shopping at Goodwill or Value Village/Savers, but regardless, it's still pretty morally-neutral in my opinion I'm reusing something that would otherwise be thrown away I'm saving money for the things we need, as thrifting is a necessity for our family I'm also not promoting fast-fashion and over-consumption, nor am I giving money to giant corporations like Walmart or Amazon because I'm buying the items usedbrbrDo as you feel is right, but please don't judge others for shopping at thrifts that aren't true non-profits Also, as someone who has volunteered for true non-profits (not thrifts, tbc) they still have to pay executives properly, or they won't attract the best talent If they don't have the best talent, they won't be able to make the most difference As long as that executive is making more than they cost for the non-profit, and truly bringing valuable knowledge and networking, I see nothing wrong with it Comment from : Alyson Bowler
