I have a 240 hz monitor, and on max settings i lock fps to 240, if your monitor has 120 hz refresh rate, don't lock your fps at 500, because it's completely useless and your pc is overloaded

nah nah i ain't lowering my material quality as it makes my game more stable (yeah its weird) because i have a weaker cpu and fully lowest settings put strain on my CPU so increasing the material quality improves visuals by a lot and significantly puts the load on my gpu due to which i get more stable fps

the thing is valorant is cpu intensive games, changing those settings wouldn't really matter if you have poor cpu since that only reduce your gpu load
