Ive been playing on origin for 2 years now, i have clocked in 2300 hours and i just recently switched to steam and its lightyears faster and more fluid Feels like i upgraded my ram and my ssd at the same time, difficult to explain and benchmarks would never show it but it feels silky smooth now

I tried on origin I usually have my fps at 60 - 50, now it's at 75 -60 fps :)

The Origin and Steam versions are running on the same version of the same render engine therefore assuming that the exact scenario is reproducible, there's no measurable difference between the two platforms The only way you would see a difference in performance would be if the other platform was very poorly optimized or doing background work Neither of these cases applies by default to Steam or Origin The game developer will always match more resources toward their own platform but since both the platforms are so well optimized, you won't see a difference between the measured frames per second Stability, however, is a different story

As much as I would have liked to see this, since its a great concept, the video is null the minute it starts considering you're not seeing the same thing on both screens IE, the guns you have are entirely different and might factor into it even if only a very small amount

I think Origin gets updates earlier too, I couldn't play with a friend once cuz they had the steam version and it wouldn't update

my steam version just looks worse and has more mirco lags??? does anybody know why? the origin version works perfectly I also have those errors in CS Go - so it is steam related

steam is better because origin uses 410 mb of ram usage while steam uses only 10 mb of ram and not to mention all the problem origin has ( white screen , download update stuck at 0kb /s , origin offline etc ) so yeah belive me steam is better

I played Apex on origin and I could play on medium settings without any lags and now since I switched to steam I cant even run it smoothly on lowest, Im getting ton of stuttering and lag spikes and usually have to wait till all the textures load up Is anyone have similiar problem ? That steam cuts off some performance ?
