jesus were things things disgusting Like, seriously, not even just the plasticy and oversaturated textures but the shitty sphere joints, pure white endoskeletons and the models themselves being very spherical, weird and flat, just bshudders/b I get these were made by like a kid from memory when all we had was like Paint 3D or smth all from a ground up, and that's impressive that such models were relased practically immidietelly after the game dropped, but goddamn, am I glad that these anceint heaps of oversaturated plastic are a thing of the past now

The old models were a piece of art Splinks literally modeled these himself instead of copying what you see and modeling them into 3D These were the golden age of childhood

Differences with the old models compared to the current ones:brbr1 Freddy’s old model doesn’t have the belly shapebr2 Golden Freddy’s old model is a lot lighter than his current onebr3 Old models look more smooth and cleanerbr4 Old models are a lot lighter than the current onesbr5 Eyes on old models have a noticeable glow when looked at from a distancebr6 Freddy’s bow tie on his old model is a little lighterbr7 Old models are a little more shorter than the current ones

New fans may laugh at these models now, but they gotta remember, Scott never released the models until very recently, so modelers had to make the models based off of the screenshots from the game Which is easier said than done when everything’s dark and grainy through the security footage brbrAlso, great job on replicating that old FNaF SFM vibe

This made me realize why the old SFM models feel different from the normal animatronics Almost everything is different, the colours, bottom jaw, top of the head, endo skeleton, eyebrows, bowtie and HELL EVEN THE TOPHAT is different I love the old models for nostalgia but damn it looks like they were made from memory
