First question off the bat Why do i have to additionally pay for cobbler when i am already paying so much for the shoes?!?!?! Why aren't they MADE already taken care of? Them soles? Why? Why is it mt problem to think about visiting a cobbler? Why? I mean the shoes are not like cars right? Some times you need winter tires, some times you don't, so the manufacturer doesn't include a set with the car, but a car still comes with tires, ya? Why should I be burdened by the worry of having them boots safeguarded? Especially if I am paying close to 3000 pounds for a pair?

I have a patent Chanel maxi from 2011 and it’s not sticky yet but I’m terrified of it happening! It’s black and sitting on a white bookcase tho so I suppose I should put a dustbag in between the two asap 😅

Yes I always put the chains inside my bag before I put them away so that it doesn’t leaves marks on the bag!

I loved this video I worked with my uncle's construction company when I was a teen, and we were renovating a bathroom and master clothset My job was to help the owner empty the closest, and because the steam went into the closet for an extended period, it had made all the leather goods mold I had to suit up in a mold remediation suit and respirator and remove all the items They had to send some of the things to a restoration company, but they had designer bags, shoes, and clothing I will never forget that experience Storage know-how is essential, so thank you for your information

For anyone in North America, when you go in to get a shoe re-soled, ask for a Vibram Same thing as what’s shown in the video, but you can actually get them textured as well so you have a bit more traction! And they do come in Louboutin red!

I don't wear designer shoes because I have wide feet and they typically don't make wide shoes but watching this makes me think; OMG WHY? If they charge so much for their shoes why aren't they making them with a proper sole? why do you have to add something to a shoe that is so expensive just so it's durable? that annoys me Thank you for the tip but I'm so annoyed that people have to do something like that when they are at such a high price point compared to cheaper shoes

I put silica gel on all my expensive purses at least 3-6 on each bag and a paper tissues inside the bags I’ve my bags for more than 10 years now and they’re still in pretty good condition

Thanks Sophie for sharing the tips & bad experiences on storing your bags especially on the paper & bubble wrap stuffings I guessed mostly importantly we have to try to clean and maintain the bags after every use and check them once in 1-2 months in their closets additionally I feel it’s good to rotate all the bags often I hope it helps 😘

Really great tips! I've stored my luxury brands away and carry my vintage Coach bags and check on my luxury brands from time to time and never had any trouble but I use a few silia packs in each bag which draw moisture out of the bags but the down side is I've had to use Apple Care conditioner twice a year on the bags, other than that they're still as new as the day I purchased them Thanks for sharing these tips 🌹

I always get soles put on my new designer shoes before wearing them, for a different reason though - I’m a klutz and those silly leather soles are slippery, if I don’t have a non-slip sole I will eventually fall down/turn my ankle over etc My cobbler has élastomère soles in different colors, so matching isn’t a problem

Regarding color transfer: My Tory Burch McGraw in Devon sand had the color from jeans transferred on it and I used a normal white pencil eraser on it and managed to remove the color transfer completely! You have to be gentle though When I hear about all these issues these luxury bags have, I lose all desire to buy any So much money and so much work and high maintenance! Bags should be fun and bring joy and pleasure, not hard work and especially not for that price!
