What about all of the semi gloss over spray on the walls and ceiling? Will that be easy to cover with satin or eggshell later?

All 3 of you were letting your wrist twist on the lower part, also letting your back bend It should be a legit squat on your way down so that your wrist and gun stay in a true perpendicular fashion up, middle, AND DOWN This ensures your cost is nice and proportionate and not being sprayed at a downward 45 degree angle

I was just wondering why you like to use a wand painting doors, also I think holding the trigger down instead of pressing it each stroke may cause sagging on the top or bottom of the door

Why spend all that time taping off the doorknobs? Much faster to just remove the knob assembly completely, skip the masking, and completely avoid having to clean any overspray that creeps in from masking mistakes

total armatures you remove the hardware you have to cross lap and an extension on a gun is likely to lead to spitting from the tip these guys have no idea of how to paint or prep

You don' t seem to be getting any overspray, I have been using a Graco 390 airless unit for several months now for water base emulsion paint using varoius tips but cant get my set up right without quite a lot of over spray Any ideas?

Did John say he is using a 310 tip? Do you use that with Emerald urethane? I notice he makes several passes on the same stock The can says to go with a larger tip, but I feel a 314 or a 214 puts too much paint down

Nice video Chris definitely knows what he is doing I feel John sprayed extremely heavy like very very very very heavy like heavy heavy but no one has said anything that I’ve seen So idk but I do know that was effffing heavy as hell no matter what material it was I don’t see any material hanging that damn good lol Hats off to the boss man though very nice technique

There's a better system to spraying doors without getting all that semi/gloss or whatever trim paint on the walls Even if your rolling out eggshell on the walls you will see that Also, if you accordion your doors you can spray edges, fronts and backs at the same time, without having to lean wet doors on anything

I noticed that while you're painting the trim you you don't have the walls taped off I'm new to Spraying I'm currently doing a 4 unit multi family house and I have been taping the edges of the trim So that I don't spray the semi glass on the walls in fear that when I'm ready to spray the walls the walls with eggshell it's not going to adhese properly

I have never used a sprayer before, and maybe have only ever painted a couple times I'm looking to get a sprayer now that my hobbies are picking up, and to paint my house Saw this video hoping to learn some techniques From what I saw, great video My question is, why do yall have the nozzle so close to what your painting? I thought it was supposed to be roughly 12" away from surface It looks like yall are about 4" roughly Not criticizing, just trying to understand for my own use/knowledge

When spraying anything the gun should be triggered at the start and finish of a section Not run the length of a room for 1 pass This reduces the amount of material useage and overspray Why use an extension, is to avoid bending? All operators are arching the application which means the dft will not be the same all over the item

Just wondering if you’ve changed your set up preferences at all?? I’m curious as to why you spend so much time using paper for floor set up instead of 3M pull down plastic and tape it down? You’d cover a closet in a minute instead of 5!brbrAlso curious to your runs I’ve never seen spraying so close or 5 times on a windowsill at 1200 PSI…depends on the paint perhaps but do you not have issues with orange peeling and runs?

I spray side to side mostly Up and down leaves bald spots more often than back and forthat least that's my methodbrI've sprayed thousands upon thousands of gallons both latex in houses and xylene based on industrial machineryas well as untold numbers of cars and trucks
