As much as i love the MK series and aside from the arcade stories always being entertaining throughout the MK games, the actual story in all these story modes has always been trash I liked MK9 story because it was interesting to see them reboot the series while still acknowledging the old story MKX story wasn't bad either because it was at least something new but it still wasnt the best either, and i certainly didnt like the whole revenant thing with the dead characters MK11 was very much trash because you think they'll keep doing something new but they just bring back all the dead characters because hey you gotta have a reason to have these characters in the roster so have at it After finishing MK1, i would put the story on top because even if it was goofy towards the end, I'd say it was as entertaining as the arcade stories That and they finally decided to bring in more characters from the 3D era and actually make them good!
