Wow! First time seeing a dapping block and a press So fascinating to morph shapes like that I love it! Every single thing about jewelry making is like a universe unto itself Making jewelry combines so many trade skills and disciplines - chemistry, structural, mechanical, forging, soldering, welding, material science, enamel work, ceramic and glass work, wire work, and so on As an avid DIYer, I am just in love with jewelry and the making of it The more I look into making, the less I buy jewelry My mind says, 'just make it yourself!' And so I do Thank you, Skylar for showing us this whole other world I am thrilled!brbrBy the way, Harbor Freight has the Dapping blocks for $46 Also presses, vise, punch sets, files, etc Pick with care of course Some are good, some not Comment from : MJ Remy |
