Listenengines are way more forgiving than people realize When you work in the heavy equipment repair industry, you understand this I've done dozens, and dozens, of inframe rebuilds over my 30 year career Majority of them are done on very large quarry equipment You can see the dust floating around, but there's not much you can do about it I have never had a premature failure Usually the first repair is an inframe rebuild, around 10k-12k hours Next will be a full rebuild around 20k-25k hours Sure, a nice clean shop is idealbut in reality, it doesn't work like that, not when you work on the big big toys Comment from : VA HOSS |
