For gaming 16 gigs is fine but for poorly optimized games you can easily see 20 or more gigs of usage so really 16 is the minimum now like 8 was in 2015 but 32 is the way to go for that sweet overhead and 8 gigs of vram is the minimum now for 1080p high settings any less and your gonna have to play at medium settings 1080p with fsr in modern games Comment from : Glory Hold |

Why mislead so much? ram speed is far more important than ram size if you have no applications open there will be little to 0 difference, Yes having more ram is good for streaming/recording and having other applications while gaming but ram speed will actually impact fps unlike ram size Comment from : Xzfuse |

The boost going from 16 to 32 can be a jump simply because many scenarios would be now running dual rank vs single I went from 2x8gb to 2x16gb but wanted a dual rank Took 3 tries to find a around $100 2x16gb 3600 c18 in a dual rank chip layout I didn’t feel the extra ram volume would be as important as getting my ram in a dual rank configuration Comment from : 45eno |
