Well, sure, the Xbox Series X version doesn't look far worse than the PC version (but it still looks worse and that's a fact) but you all forget that on the RTX 3080 the game runs at 60fps (at least on factory overclocked cards, such as the Aorus 3080 - on "regular" the average is around 54fps), while on PS5 and XSX the game runs at 30fps So no, it's not "almost the same" nor a better option than a $700 card, because you get twice the framerate and better visuals So you'd need twice the power (or even more) the XSX has, so you can double its price and you get $1000 vs a $700 video card (of course in the case of PC you need to buy all other components, so probably you need to spend at least $1200-1400 Nevertheless the difference is pretty huge if you take the framerate into account, wonder how this would run on PC with XSX settings, I bet on PC you'd get like 70-80fps on those settings So sadly, while I'm a big fan of PS3/X360, I just hate the PS4 and the same goes with new consoles Well, XSX is fine, but the PS3 was the last console of its kind - I mean by this consoles that were (at launch) far superior than home computers Today they are trying to make it cheap, so consoles are inferior At launch we have Watch Dogs in 4K, but in 30fps and with lower quality graphics (the difference might not be big, but is visible) So the question is - since there's a problem with achieving 4K/60fps at launch (I don't even dream of 120fps which I get in many games in 4K on PC) - how the heck they want to give us 4K/60fps two or three years from now, when games will be even more demanding? Oh, I know - they will release Pro versions ;) I'd really prefer PS5 and XSX to cost $100-200 more at launch, but with better specs, on par with a high-end PC, I'd buy such a console on day one, I'd even pay $300 more for it But right now I just don't see the point Don't want to start a PC vs consoles flame, but since there are no interesting exclusives I think it's better to wait for a Pro version or smth Comment from : M
