to be fair Genshin Impact is badly optimized on mobile, mihoyo decided to make the game compatible with many older phones/tablets instead of limiting the game to newer devices and use faster APIs that deliver better performance/fps Genshin is compatible with as old as iOS 90, meanwhile Alien Isolation, one of the best looking and best optimized games on iOS, requires iOS 148 or above There's prob a bunch of newer, more efficient Metal APIs that come with iOS 148 Comment from : moisterrific

The issue here is not hardware its software Genshin on iOS has lower quality textures and the settings like draw distance etc has been dialled back this is because the game has been designed to run on the older generation of hardware and Apple's store will not allow for developers to have a different version of the game based on the hardwarebrbrThe only option they have is to code the game to detect the hardware and run a different config file and give you the option to download higher resolution textures this type of update will take time if they decide to do it Comment from : PILKSUK
