Facts re lower latency reduces stale shares I thought it was my OC settings - for months I played with the setting to no avail Discovered the latency setting in HiveOS, switched to a closer mining pool, and holy shit my rigs have been running at 9998 for a week now Now I can chill and stack sats! 🤑 Thank you!

Hi Sebs, I just did a test in Finland for our set-up in Singapore Flexpool 219ms, Ethermine 62ms and 2Miners 286ms No wonder we were getting lot higher stable & invalid shares with Flexpool but 2Miners don't share such data So looks like we have to move back to Ethermine!

Another great Video! I am getting around 35ms with minging pool hub in the UK, does the mining program effect the latency much ? I am keen to try other mining untilitys, but I am stuck with Phoenix Miner because I only have 1 rig and its mixed card types

So i mine on Binance and i have 150ms but i get very less rejected shares so is there still a problem? If i had less ping will i get more shares? I don't know how it works

For testing the latency of your local network try pinging your router (19216811 is common) Cable length should not be an issue, hardware and cable quality matter more Was that an actual HUB or a Switch? There would be latency differences between the two types of devices, how much is situational In the end, unlikely anything would increase latency to a remote location other than reducing hops in the route between locations

Nanopool and I'm from New York Love them Ping is higher to the east servers like 150 But always accurate and consistent and been mining sense January there and some in 2018 Highly recommend i get 137 ping on 2 rigs at 2 different places no stale shares really, and i make most on there
