I have found a thicker penny from 2015 , it has silvery color around the ridge of both sides It is very noticeable for it's thickness , the silver edge is also notably seen and that's what made me take a second look

I watched a coin guy call a 43 copper penny fake because they didn't make 43 pennies in copper The old man who brought it in smiled and walked out I chased him down and told him what he had He said he knew but always tests the dealers first to see how honest they are This broker didn't even make an offer he really thought it was fake
