I am going through a similar situation and I have never been able to watch a full episode I am and was in denial about my circumstances saying that I can do this and I will or can lose it Well age and depression and the pain and embarrassment of what I was becoming I am finally in a position not far from Ricky and others I have no excuses and no promises to anyoneI am finally aware of the future I've lost my amazing spouse and family not to mention friends people treat me as a monster or worse I haven't left my apartment in 10 months and the only person I see is my son who loves me more than life but he is not my caretaker and I am not the father he once knew and the dad that's his hero The reason I say all this is I'm going to try to find the right path for weight loss clearly I don't know but I am willing to learn and and hopefully get healthy enough to take care of myself and if I'm committed enough have the surgery I am not doing this for a restoration of a relationship or a a mission to be the weight loss golden boy I truly just want to be a good father and play a game of basketball with my son or go ride 4 wheelers together again if you read this please pray for me and if you feel that you need to be negative I truly hope you feel better about yourself and learn to love sorry for the rant God bless
