I have the Marriott Bonvoy Boundless and AmEx Gold Do I need to get the AmEx Platinum AND upgrade to The Ritz-Carlton Visa?

A bit tricky that the cardmember anniversary apparently resets when you product change AND apparently you don’t get the first annual cert until a year after the PC 🧐

I found out the hard way that Chase is no longer honoring the trusted traveler program credit for TSA Precheck, must be Global Entry (which will still include Precheck) I attempted to use it a few months ago for the $78 Precheck charge and was denied the credit I spoke to several people at Chase about it and they were firm that this credit is for Global Entry only, despite several other sources listing TSA Precheck also Still love the card though

Only thing is this card needs to give at least Platinum status to even compete vs the Aspire ESP for Marriott’s highest end property

In order to maximize the benefits of this card, you should be a regular paying customer at RC Those who regularly pay to stay at RC wouldn’t need the airline incidental benefits I can only afford to stay at RC with points, so it’s not for me, even though the card is really cool

My RCR card is 5 of my YouTube personality I love it! And now the the FNA is an 85K certificate instead of 50K, the card can actually be used to stay at a freaking Ritz Carlton hotel now!

Hi Mark, are there any data points of this card receiving the Chase Sapphire Reserve treatment at the Chase lounges? It's my understanding that the way Chase is differentiating their lounge usage based on their Priority Pass VS others Would be curious to see how it's treated Could be a sneaky extra bonus if it gets unlimited visits to the Chase lounges
