Also I get my credit statement and the start of every month example I received my march statement already how does that work when I haven't spent on my credit card this month yet? I m sill confused abt the statement day, say I get the statement on 5th (for the previous month), so are u saying the APR will be applied to any money after 5th? Another relevant question is, if its to be paid by calendar month, why do they issue the statement a few days after the month?

I don't really know when I owed credit card but bank sent me my 1 first with limit of 750 & only started using it around 2 yrs with credit score ranging in good on its own site/app (not sure how reliable its as I don't bother with those things) , last I checked as I mostly used debit I know I can pay early but what's ideal time to pay to built credit just in case, asap or near the due date/ exactly on due date or does it not matter? Also I watched you cc & bank account video & decided to go with 2 more diff bank sant & nationwide for obvious reason after watching your vid but I'm still struggling with which cc to go for as I'm still unsure of things like use aboard /balance transfer & rest - any that I think might be useful for me may be cash back from paying bills/ weekly shopping being my one & only large spending , I would say I'm good at manging / work towards its as debit's something I tend to avoid at any form So, I happen to be "eligible" for cc which would you recomment I would like avoid complete digital/comp that's not local for reasons/newer/that don't 've much history thanks

Hi Andy, I hope you are having a good day, I have a very simple question, is it necessary to have a current account with the same bank that you are applying for a credit card? Or can I pay with another bank for that credit card?
