In some ways I rather like Battlefield Earth No it is not a good movie by any stretch, but there was something oddly mesmerizingly hilarious to me about Travolta's ham as Terl, especially his exchanges with his apprentice KerbrI think it was just all those moments of "Man-Animals can't do that!" bMan-Animal does that Cue Travolta with a perplexed look/b "I'll be damned"brbrOverall terrible movie imo but one that I oddly enjoy watching once in a blue moon

I know that this video was posted 15 years ago, but Orion Studios was another one that should have been on the list They were responsible for releasing the original RoboCop trilogy and the now cult classic "UHF" starring "Weird Al" Yankovic But, I am not sure which film brought them to their knees

"The Golden Compass" was seen as an anti-religion movie (which it is to some extent), was boycotted and denounced by the religious right and went under in the raging Culture Wars Plus the fantasy market was already a bit over-saturated with the much more Christian-friendly "The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe" series

I felt the golden compass was an excellent movie with a great plot going for it but I am mad it will never finish its cliffhanger it truly was a good movie and I would watch it again
