I've got a 3770 non K with a stock cooler it was getting close to 80c still way off tjunction but fitted an old Corsair AIO and it brings the temps down to 55c at fullb load Pairing it with an old GTX 760

Did you overclock it on this video? I got a z77 rig and Planning on buying a used 3770k for 85$ and overclock it to around 45ghz so i also need to buy a better cooler However, i want to know it's potential first before doing it to know if it's even worth the money

i7-3770K is in my old system I use that system almost purely for workstation stuff It’s just for storing stuff and doing light internet work so I’m not tempted to play games and goof off too much

I've been rocking this exact motherboard/cpu pairing since 2012! This motherboard is a bad ass, mine has had some serious mileage I'm thinking about throwing a 2060 founders in and see if I can get decent performance running visual pinball x vr on an oculus quest2 The 2060 founders has a built in usb c, so I figure it might fare better than trying to use a different gpu with one of the pcie usb c add on expansions

The whole methodology of this test is wrongbrCPU not overclocked, it can be overclocked to 45Ghz easybrPerformance will be bad at 1080p as the CPU most likely be in bottleneck, however less in 2K res and almost not at all at 4K

I have the exact same MTB / CPU combo and also 16GB RAM I added a Gigabyte GTX 1660 Super Gaming OC GPU to the mix to make her last longer, but I didn't dare to do so without giving a decent overclock to the CPU (44GHz, planning on more) and the RAM (2400MHz, CL11) Of course you'll bottleneck a 2080Ti with the stock settings Give it a try

the problem with this benchmark has been the intel stock cooler even when the cpu is at stock frequencies it does thermal throting with that cooler Another detail would be the ram configurations that are xmp at 2133mhz, if I do not activate the xmp profile the ram ran at 1333mhz, I have seen other test benches with this combination and the metrics do not drop below 90fps in most scenarios at 720p resolutions Yes there is a bottleneck in this combination but the drop in performance is not so noticeable, and if you play at 1440p the performance improves considerably

I have noticed you had Corsair at 2133 Mhz CL-8, which is extremely fast Perhaps you did not apply XMP in bios which might explain the low results Without XMP, the ram will default to 1333, which is quite slower

Something you doing wrong mate with a 2600k and an EVGA 1070 no OC a rarely see below 50 in 4k with almost all settings maxed (in rare cases of games shadows to low and bloom)

I like your videos, but I just can't fathom how fortnite bottlenecked here I mean, just wow I can break 100 fps on a gtx 660 with an i7-2600 in 1080p Granted, thats a mix of medium to low settings, but still 1080p I didnt THINK high settings made that much of a difference The only place I saw my 3770k fall flat on it's face was the new nintendo switch emulator Wow, 10fps in 720p with a gtx 1050 ti

Try to put some better CPU cooler Maybe the i7 is underclocking because the Intel stock cooler I7 3770K should run Fortnite in 1080p high settings, 60 FPS with ease
