I use a USB connection when my headphones are plugged in because it gives a better audio experience With bluetooth, I noticed some dropped audio, like the connection wasn't clear This doesn't happen with USB The only reason I plug in my controller

What about for PC? I know the same thing happens for the dualshock 4 controller on pc, that being the polling rate is changed and input lag increased, when you play with a wired connection But does the same thing happen for a dualsense controller on pc, that being a wired connection makes no difference?

It’s nothing related to the controller, If you are using a TV to play, it will have a very delayed response since most TV have a very high latency even it states with a “gaming” mode

I’m not an experienced tech guy, but my bet is that the PS4 controllers are likely trying to juggle both charging and sending/receiving information, that and the fact it’s a physical connection between controller and console (an example is that I had I teacher in middle school try to call a friend in Alaska and experienced a severe latency of a few seconds of silence between everyone’s responses) Plus, there’s about a decade of technological advancements between the two consoles, for all we know it could be the console’s fault and not the controller

This is not true for PC brbrWhen overclocked, the Dualsense gets 0ms of input delay, and the Dualshock 4 gets 45ms which is lower than bluetooth both overclocked and notbrbrConsistency of input delay is more stable when wired on a Dualshock 4 on both platforms

I don’t know if the console makes a difference but the moment I went wired with my PS4 Scuf on my PS5 I could see the difference not just feel it I’ve had my Edge plugged in exclusively since day one but with a 4hr battery life I may just keep doing that until bigger replacement batteries come out

when I play with a wired connection with my ps5 controller I can feel more input delay than if im playing wireless thru Bluetooth connection for Fortnite at least And on my ps4 controller was opposite I think the ps5 controller gets more input delay cause it has a microphone built inside of it or something

Works the exact same if you are charging a pad or mobile fone The longer the cable the longer it takes for signals get sent through to your device whatever it may be Bluetooth misses all of this out! Just make sure there are no other Bluetooth devices switched on in your household for rapid ingame reflex!
