Rates up: doesn't matter because of the overall debt (Currently almost everyone view) I recently heard the story of the USA invading Afghanistan and after 10 years pulling out really without a win Many people would say why would they do that? It only cost them money and lives But at some point the cost to continue isn't worth it and they pivoted and pulled out I think the same with will happen with rates Eventually kicking the can down the road won't be worth it and they will raise rates and take the medicine Of course we will go into a massive recession/depression but I really think people don't expect rates to ever raisebrbrAlso the FED is in control of employment and inflation Employment is at all time highs and strength and Inflation even though I think it is near term is high They will tighten and even more so when the inflation affect consumer prices like fuel and food

Bitcoiners weren’t giving the Ethereum guys shit for having higher inflation rate or uncapped supply as much as they were/are giving them shit that the monetary policy of ETH can be changed so easily by a centralized group of people That’s pretty damn similar to the central banking system we already have That said, Ethereum could still succeed in other use cases, but as money, with incorruptible and predictable monetary policy, Bitcoin will be the King forever because something like that only happens once
