I have used these strategies before; but what I never have understood was: If you are using a program like Anki to study for a test like a licensing exam which has multiple topics should you separate each topic? and study only that section for the day? and when you mention short study sessions should you do multiple repetitions of the same information throughout the day I have approximately 3 months/(24 hours a day) to study 8 topics I can't figure out how many cards I should attempt to get through in a day vs in a session (I have been out of school a while) Thanks Comment from : nic c

In high-school I was a rote learner In Nursing school, realize, now that I'm retired, that I developed some of the techniques especially diagrams Self testing and writing up those diagrams while thinking them through Reading what I could not remember and self test again However, pharmacology, I feel I needed a little more rote learning and a lot of self testing And, of course, when working, there was the good old CPS to help out!
