After doing some research, I've found that the fuse is a 1A 32V fuse in the 0402 package size The PS4 original should work, but is the larger 0603 package size brbrI've also seen it reported that forcing a disc in or out of the drive causes the surge that blows the fuse Make note of that whenever fixing a board with a similar issue!

Hi Mate, I have same slim ps4 but slightly differant layout (board nubmer 1-982-479-11) same error code firmeware not updatingbrblue ray drive not taking any disk inside , I have check the fuses seemd to all good any help please

You can bridge the fuse but only for testing a replacement fuse costs zero or some cents, but If you got another voltage spike and you fry the renesas chip your PS4 will be a brick

Tbh idk but I think if you had two PS4 slims and one wasn't working you could connect their blu ray disc ribbon cables and connect it to yours the problem isn't always on the motherboard your cables could get faulty overtime

I buyed with 80$ a PS4 with SU-30645-8 error because the seller can't update ,it starts only in Safe Mode, i download from PSN the full firmware and tried with usb exacly root PS4UPDATE PS4UPDATEPUP , cleaned from dust , change the thermal paste, formatt the HDD, initialized, rebuild data base, but the same error asking the 702 firmware or later I read on the internet that someone have this problem and find a Ram module broken You have this problem until now with one of the broken ps4 ?

Any luck if I don't have a disk drive haven't had one in it for a while because i was all digital and took the drive out because it ran cooler and more quiet with out it
