I very much like that you didn't always pick the latest game in a franchise Even though picking an older game is partly necessary due to the "still" - theme, I very much agree that "Rise of the Tomb Raider" and "Origins" provide more impressive visuals than later titles with arguably better technology supporting them It is always a combination of a great technical foundation and the environments / designs / moods supported by the former

whats really cool about the Arkham games is how they re-use enemy models but with variations so they actually feel unique The thugs are exactly the same just in different skins Most modern games just have endless waves of identical enemies and it can make games feel really dated The Arkham series is bchefs kiss/b with its grunt-level enemies

Battlefield 1 had a serious problem with everything being grey as fuck in a lot of maps though You see it in the clip here The enemies are the same grey as the background and it made them harder than it should have been to spot
