First question Incorrect Answer is 14 If you wanted to divide by "A" half, you should have said that in the question, but it asked by half Half of 30 is 15 Divide 30 by 15 is 2 plus 12 is 14 Try wording the question better Comment from : @jeffnewcomb9826 |

This is a mistake When you say "Divide 30 by half" it is usually interpreted as "Divide 30 by 2" You should say "Divide 30 by one half" Comment from : @sergeypetrov5446 |

"half" could logically be interpreted as "half of 30", the number that was just given So 14 is also a logical answer to this ill-worded question Comment from : @jenspi4725 |

The answer to the bonus riddle is neither 4 (that's not what the Q asked) nor 13 (13 is straight wrong) but it is 19brFor a counterexample to 13, take 7 red balls and 6 green balls and u are left with balls of only 2 colours The main trick here is to take 18 balls (in the worst possible scenario u can end up with 7 red, 6 green and 5 black) and still have only 3 colours Now on the 19th ball, the 4th colour is guaranteed Comment from : @souradipdas3902 |

Minimum number of draws to get 4 same color is 4 Because you cant get there with 3 or less draws but can happen to draw 4 same back to back Comment from : @bubbaadams2866 |
I must sY with the first one the grammar is incorrect which contributes to the error In English we would say "divide 30 by a half" I got it anyway Comment from : @alanrobinson2529 |

Divide 30 by half--this is ambiguous A better statement would be, "divide 30 by one half" Comment from : @kevinkohut5096 |
Divide a pizza by half, what do you get? If the answer is 2, everybody would be rich by now Comment from : @thichhochoi766 |
13 balls are to be taken out to get 4same coloured balls, if 1st 2nd 3rd and 4th balls are red green black blue, same thing continued for the other three rounds, so total 12 balls were taken out with 3 colours each, If the 13th ball was taken out from the remaining will match with any of the previously taken balls so minimum 13balls required to get 4same colour balls Comment from : @hariharan-xo2wl |

as an avid pool player, I find the 3 pool balls adding to 30 is bogus---yes the 6 (green ball) could in theory be turned around, but real legit pool balls, the 6 is green and the 9 is yellow/white--but the key is each an orientation line under the numberso their logic just saying turn the ball around isn't correctthey are not legit pool balls Comment from : @nickstone7834 |

Key word in the bonus question is "minimum" I must draw at least four balls to get four of the same color Therefore four balls is the minimum, and the answer to the question For those who insist on 13, that is the MAXIMUM number of balls you'd need to draw to get four of the same color, completely opposite of what's asked Comment from : @cdmcfall |

These are absurdly simple questions, no way “90” gets them wrong Very clickbaity Whats more, they’re poorly formulated for a “logic” channel At least riddles #3, #4, #5, #6, #7, #9 all have alternative solutions At least point that out while you hash over the solution The bonus quest is asked in a way that there are multiple interpretations Comment from : @Misteribel |

Nine coins has another solution [edit - Ok, I see it has been shown near the end of the vid] There are various solutions for 3 squares moving 3 matchsticks, and these others are achieved by having a matchstick left out of the configuration (challenge did not forbid that possibility) Answer to final puzzle is 13 It's possible to draw 3 X Red/Green/Black/Blue at random, making 12 draws without achieving 4 X one colour, but on the 13th draw you must pick a ball that is the 4th for any colour Comment from : @barryschwarz |
The pool challenge, my first instinct was immediately "that 9 ball looks sus" Comment from : @freddymintarja2186 |
In the last problem the solution is 13brSuppose you draw 3 red balls, 3 green balls, 3 black balls and 3 blue balls Now you have to draw the 13th ball and it doesn't matter the colour you get, you'll get 4 same colored balls Comment from : @notpsy7298 |
Eleven balls! One More than half of the amount Comment from : @briandarga5443 |

Bonus riddle :it’s 4 because what if you get blue four times in a row ,so the min is 4,and the max is 13 because this is all the combinations,(4,3,3,3’3,4,3,3’3,3,4,3’3,3,3,4’…),so all of the combinations have a number which is equal to or greater than 4 so the max is 13 Comment from : @yihangchan7352 |
anyone who got 4 for the last question either misread the question or is deluded Comment from : @ks2091 |
#4 it is easier keeping the coins in their current orientation Move the center coin and bottom coin to make a much better looking triangle Never said any thing about gaps between coins Comment from : @alberthopfer3087 |
First question I had 14 or 72, because I didn't know if he means 30:15 or 30:½ But I didn't expect 27brBonus I think it's 13 In 12 times you can have three of every color With the next move you have 4 of one color Comment from : @roschue |
Riddle 1 Dividing by half Half is by definition: "either of two equal parts that compose something" Dividing by half necessarily means we require to know what is the something that composes the two halves This question is flawed and cannot be answeredbrbrRiddle 9 Someone obviously never tried to cut a cake through the middle like that Comment from : @fetusofetuso2122 |
RE buying the metallic house numbers puzzle:brI assumed he wasy buying numeric shaped birthday cake candlesbrI'm giving myself that one Comment from : @dancoulson6579 |
19 balls After drawing 18 you could still have 1 of each color Comment from : @earthbiker |
Note that in the "remove two matchsticks to get two squares, the larger square is NOT a square--the side matchsticks are touching, but the top and bottom matchsticks are separate by the width of a matchstick, so the larger "square" is wider than it is tall Nice, subtle clue with the 9 ball (MILD SPOILER ALERT) having a shadow that is rotated 180 degrees from the one on the 7 ball Comment from : @ericrawlins8444 |
If he’s paying in rupees, it’s not hamburger Comment from : @jackbettridge957 |
The answer is 13brSince there are 4 different colours of balls, in a worse case scenario, after 12 picks you have a maximum of 3 balls of the same colour in hand, since there are only 4 colours of balls, in your 13th pick you must complete one of those same coloured balls in hand to 4 same coloured balls Comment from : @chessmaster2041 |
Any which way you cut it 'half' by itself does not mean any specific number For those who divided by 5, you are ASSUMING they mean ONE-half or half of 1, those who divide by 15 are ASSUMING they mean half of 30 for those who divide by 2 you are ASSUMING they mean divide 30 IN half Regardless, you have to assume something, and if you have to assume something, there is not enough information to answer the problem Therefore the only correct answer is to ask "Half of what?" Comment from : @GraceMidyette |
There is another way to make a triangle without altering the orientation Comment from : @fortuitousthings8606 |
Should be 14 instead of 72 because you are dividing 30 "by half" (15) not by "one half" (05) Comment from : @miljanmatovic880 |
Puzzle 4 can be solved in another way as well Take the central coin and the bottom most coin, place them each on the two ends of the bottom row and we get a hollow triangular shape br obr o obr o obr o o o o Comment from : @arya8411 |

Liberals think 27 Comment from : @angryblackman5748 |
I gotta love the information omission RIddle #7 has to do just to make it tricky Because any self respecting set of pool balls actually makes does add a distinction line in 6 and 9 in order to easily identify them, making this logic kind of pointless Comment from : @algis-kun8777 |
For the last one, you can draw 4 colored balls in 4 draws every time They may be different colors, but they will all be colored balls Comment from : @MikeG961 |
divide 30 by half is worded wrong if they intended 30 divided by one half should be divide 30 by one half and add 12 Comment from : @viperdemonz-jenkins |
