I'm deep in college and have heard horror stories about credit, and pretty much swore it off (If it's not in my debet account, I don't buy it mentality) Also those recounts that banks giving out credit cards are akin to a more predatory used car salesmanbrbrThank you for filling in the gaps and relieving some of the anxiety!

I'm about to be 30 and have never had a credit card; even our economics class in HS had a whole half semester lesson on never getting credit cards because they're bad But when I moved out, I realized you need a credit score to get approved even for apartments and stuff; I got around that bc of my roommate, and still have had trouble understanding credit cards I tried to apply for chime as the safest option, but they told me I needed to let HR know and have them connected that way, which made me not want to do that bc wtf This is the first video that actually makes sense to me, so thank you

So if i pay off my charges by the end of the month every time without fail, the apr won’t matter because it was on time, and on time means no interestright? sorry if this is a stupid question nobody ever taught me this i am doing my best 😭brbredit: i only plan to use a card to pay for my monthly subscriptions like spotify, hulu, etc so i won’t have an issue paying these back

my dad split when I was 12 and my mom was bipolar ,never home, and kicked me out at 17 I never had anyone teach me anything about the real world I've had to figure it all out on my own, slowly, one step at a time Thank you for the video I really appreciate it

I’m turning 14 in a month and I am binging a whole lot of videos about moving out, credit, emancipation, and a whole butch of other “adulty” things because I want to move out at 18 and get an apartment, and one of the most important things I see people talking about to get an apartment is credit I’m saving all of my money, making money, and planning to get a job as soon as either 14 or 15 I’m making money by helping my dad do a LOT of stuff outdoors, and next week I’ll be plant sitting for one of my neighbors (who is very nice) for a week, and also every two weeks I cut the grass for my neighbor across the street for $20 brI already have over $1500 saved from the various jobs I’ve helped my dad and brothers with, birthday and Christmas money (and I’ll be getting some b-day money soon since my birthday is in July), anytime I’m helping my neighbors do something while they’re gone/on vacation Honestly, I can not WAIT to get a job and start making guaranteed money (if I don’t get fired 🫡) each month
