So i'm on a schedule i stopped playing games when i began uni, 4weeks ago, i do write notes in class, i don't rewrite at home i just take what i need from them, i use flashcards to study formulas and similar stuff, i use a whiteboard to analyze math concepts just like you said brBut something i am not doing is having fun, i stopped playing games thinking it would affect my focus or won't allow me to perform well What would you say abt that? I wouldn't give any study tips I barely studied and got a 1st The onky thing i did was read a ton of papers around my research topics and let my curiosities guide me When you do that you absob more information, you write better, you become accustomed with the jargon, and you might end up writing a more interesting paper which may seperate you from your peers I was a philosoohy student with an interest in film, so I ended up marryibg my interests A philosophy paper on personal identity as a metaphysical problem became a thesis on the Narrative self Or a paper on space a quantification of cinematic space, or liminal spaces Even when i basically didnt do what was asked of me i got good marks because professors want to be surprised They want to see a student do somethibg novel and interesting Comment from : can yildiz |

social media has set up unrealistic goals for people that are purely false (studying mechanical engineering ) our classmates would compare how many hours they studied and when I looked at others studying time I would destroy myself to get as much done as them which was purely exhausting The tips you gave me were constructive and I would recommend this video to every student who is trying to get better with their grades or study habits thank you very much Comment from : Seek |

1 Don’t get through the content (questions/reading) for the sake of completion br2 Spend as long as you need on a concept because understanding it at different angles will build the synapses!br3 No point in writing out tonnes of notes, it’s ok to be chaotic and write randomly/on random pieces of paper as you try to learnbr4 If I’m a rut - Speak out loud when you’re trying to process something or pace up and downbrbrAs a uni student one thing I find so overwhelming is the “life” side ie organising social things, meal plannings and admin, washing my damn clothes or myself 😂 so trying to schedule that in may be the only way versus finding out that in one weekend I’ve double booked myself on social commitments and left with dirty clothes only Comment from : R Kaur |
