This is NOT how you solve this issue with RYZEN this method lowers the voltage regulators, and NOT the requested VOLTAGE from the CPUbrbrIf you do this, you will have instabilitybrPLEASEUse the PBO Curve optimizer!! This is how AMD has said to solve issues like this!brbrAlso, Asus boards have a bugif you simply set the setting he is changing to offsetand restart, it will solve the high voltage on your ASUS motherboard

from what i know undervolting like that also somehow reduces the actual performance, only way to undervolt without losing performance is through pbo but if you stress the cpu thermals will be the same so yeah upgrade your cooling

I am getting problems with temps on my ryzen 7 5800x I have Asus Rog strix x570 f gaming motherboard when I purchased this pc first time the temps was 25-35° at idle and 45-58° at gaming after that something was happened to my pc sometime it didn't turn sometimes it gets on so after that my pc has a software called my Asus support in that there is a bios update called ( 315 ) so I updated it and the problem got solved ! But after that I see temps and it's 45-58° at idle and 65-70° max at gaming I don't what actually happened to my pc u have any idea about it sir ? Even that my Asus support has ( 314 ) bios update should I try this ? Even I don't know how much cpu volt it is before the problem ? And now is 14v what should I do sir ? Tell me some solutions

So my motherboard only allows me to go to 01v undervolt so i settled on 093v just because it seemed to be better than 01v The question i have is my voltages stayed the same in hwinfo but my package power dropped by 8w or 12 and my temperatures dropped by whopping 12 Celsius Cinebench score stayed about the same aswell So is it normal that the voltages stayed the same?

Whats the worst case scenario that can occur if you undervolt too much? I've already experienced having crashes and having to do a full system restore after undervolting my AMD GPU through the Adrenalin software I want to dive into doing the same to my CPU through the bios but am scared it may never boot again

i use an r5 3600, with -01 offset and it seems that you need to set your cpu ratio whenever i set mine to auto, the temperature got between 80-85c, but when i set it to 4000, it only reaches 65c! and it also obtain a better performance!

Thank you sooooo much man!!! i had a problem with temps spikes on my R7 1700 after bios update My voltage was on 1,373v I set offset to 005 and the voltage drop back to normal 115-20v and my temps are now stable at 32c now xDD before i had spikes from 35 to 51c now it is stable and i can finaly overclock back to my original clock i was running 3,75Ghz because of the voltage but before the bios update i was pushing 3,95 Ghz on stock cooler
