I genuinely don't like the way PS1 games look at high resolutions Visual artifacts are much more noticable I always think of Metal Gear Solid; the faces look so blurry at higher resolutions because they were designed with a certain level of detail that would look good specifically at native resolution The smooth polygons look weird with low-res textures Everything looks so much more consistent at native resolution Comment from : @astra_robotica
