It's mostly depressing watching sparks try to solder on site Refer to electronics channels, the wire ends need tinning first Use flux cored solder Certainly anyone can learn to do it correctly

I been using this for years, I use the top of a clip board, I should have patented it lolbrBut it only cost £150 for the clip board, I'll stick with that thanks it works perfect

Or just use a couple alligator clips? Depending on the clips you pick up you could probably solder both onto a spare wire The price tag is $22

Masking tape / any tape or blue-tack / putty would do this job aswell & most have those items lying around
