For a beginner-What do you think is the hardest thing about photography-learning all the technical stuff or composition? If someone can pick up composition quickly-and of course if they could get out there to just take a lot of photos do you think they could learn fairly quickly? (like with in a couple years verses 10-15 years I mean not like days or months) Comment from : Ginette |

I love those photos with your phone Very inspiring Very helpful to think about pointing the camera up or down, changing the horizonetc My background is drawing/painting, so I did not think of composition that muchit was “just more of what feels right type of thing” Especially with life drawingdon’t cut off the hands or feetthere is my tip! 😊 But I appreciate the refreshers on composition esp now I am learning photography! Thanks Comment from : Ginette |

Nigel, As someone who watches many of your videos I would like to suggest this When you put your all important camera settings on the screen from a particular shot and a person like me pauses to view/study the settings the You Tube player bar is in way and you can not view them without effort and it's a drag I would say they are important to the view and you should put them up a little higher than the YouTube player bar or even up top all the better It is a drag clicking and navigating every time you show the camera settings being used Comment from : SUTV |

Thank you for nice and informative videos They are all good tips But what strikes me is that I only see fantastic and dramatic landscapes in your (and other's) videos You probably wouldn't pick up your camera unless the scene captured your eye (Why would you?) But what if you can't afford travelling to fantastic scenery? What if your surroundings lack changes and are monotonous? I would like to see you tackle that! I do not mean to criticize your work I'm just interested in getting more tips that would really help me (Pardon my poor English) Comment from : skolrelaterat |

Thanks for this Great tips for creating a great composition in landscape photography, and no mention of the rule of thirds!! I can get hung up on the rule of thirds which doesn't make as much sense to me at your suggestions here I'm going to try to use at least one each time I go out (so I don't get confused!)
