Appreciate videos like this so much I played The Witcher 3 several years ago and I want to say I got to around 40 completed of the main story but got a tad burnt out because I kept getting distracted by side activities and inevitably lost interest in continuing the gamebrbrBut now with the next gen version looking really good on my PS5 I think it’s time return Especially since I fell in love with Cyberpunk 2077 last year and just wrapped up Phantom Liberty, I want more CDPR RPG good ness in my life

Just a little quality of life tip: Geralt does a LOT of investigating in this game, and a lot of that time his dialogue lasts only a second or so, but he sits staring at the object of inerest for several seconds longer than necessary It gets pretty annoying sometimes You can, however, cancel Geralt's investigation animation by simply jumping This way if you die or have to reload a save for some reason and re-investigate a scene, you can breeze theough it in very quickly rather than spending those agonizing few seconds watching Geralt silently stare at each bottle or blood stain

i just started the game yesterday on Nintendo switch and i have never played a Witcher game i am lvl 2 and one of my swords have a red mark on it do that mean its broken and can i play without crafting any gear i dont want to craft anything i hate crafting

the Gourmet skill is best early on, eat/drink anything and you heal for 20min continuously without spamming the button whenever the status effect wears off, saving you money or saving you in battle to back up and wait until you healed or maybe get yourself out of a crappy situation, remember to press the designate key of your choice to eat/drink again after meditation, thank me later

Next gen update could not come at any better time for me I dared not played this game yers ago in highschool when my attention span was that of a perbrained 15 year old, now, I enjoy the game thoroughly as my escape from reality on both steam deck and on my home pc Probably the best game of all time if your into Story driven rpgs that has toke of crafting, alchemy and monster fighting

I agree about the controls and the feel/movements of Geralt and essentially Roach I tried playing Wticher 3 a couple of years ago & eventually stopped because I just didn't like how the controls feltbrBut I'm trying it again now that the next-gen update is out They didn't seem to fix the movement / controls that much but I'm trying to get used to it

game is great the only donwnside is that the difficulty is not very hard coming from a souls game this is pretty easy otherwise amazing game

First-time player of the Witcher, luckily someone gave me the game years ago and now enjoying the Next Gen update Thankfully I played Cyberpunk, lots, so finding the whole menu system a bit easier to understand Still really needing lots of vids like this one, so thanks for the info

Only thing I wish the next gen version had vibration when u connected a hit on enemies There’s haptics and stuff in the menus but the combat is so weird without any vibrations Feels airy
