I am a Pc user, I realy didn't find any device good for a portable office since the launch of ipad pro with pencil 2 I use it to the fild work and papperless office I do not feel confortable with any realy productive task other than taking notes The app I realy appreciate is Goodnotes for, basic sketching, taking notes, reviewing pdfs, etc

Blue beam is great on the desktop I haven’t tried it out as an app on the iPad, but on the computer it’s great for getting quick measurements, stamping drawings, getting square footages and annotating as needed

I'm not an architect but wanna be at heart and I just got the new concept app and it's great! and I watch architects work with it here on YouTube and they just basically build something straight up from the ground and turn out a beautiful concept and they even take their own blueprints and go from flat to a 3-D render, it's awesome and you can be a doodler, Orr serious artist

I realize it was over 2 years ago that you recorded this, but thanks I am a long-time user (architect) of SketchUp but they very recently announced SketchUp for the iPad Pro, which caused me to buy an iPad Pro, so now I am sorting out what other software I want for it Your video is very helpful, so thank you for that I have also been using AutoCAD - now AutoCAD LT - since 1985 Yes, I am that old, and so is AutoCAD

Just the capacity to arrange notes and adding photos directly seems mind blowing compared to a classic notebook Have you had the chance to try the LIDAR on the new models ? It would be great if they would develop Morpholio Trace and some of the other nifty creative Apple apps for Android and Windows I use Autodesk Sketch Book on my Surface Book and on a tablet but they're lacking a lot of the features and scaling that apps like Morpholio provide The Galaxy S8 I just picked up has a great stylus and sketching functionality but missing those important elements offered by the software only available on the Apple It's a little surprising as the Android and Windows market are larger than the Apple world It will never replace hand drawing but it opens a whole new avenue of creativity and expression

if you use a blue pencil or harder pencil 2h,3h etc you can keep your lines just draw over with softer darker hb 2b 3b leads or marker This is how you get out of undo Its actually nice to see your process coming through, so some older ideas are still lingering around but you can do all of that with IPAD which just seems more convenient You wont have a romantic collection of sketchbooks for universities to keep in their special collections library thoughif that is a worryLOL
