Very interesting @Gurribuy, I connected a pump direct The pump will even disconnect when there is a cloud and voltage is too low But it reconnects too early Is there a system that can delay the reconnect until there is full sun again?

This is what I wanted for my 12v exhaust fan I have a solar system installed at my home The inverter within the box gets heated very much so I made a tin shed cover over and around the box But still to be on safer side I want to make exhaust fan arrangement for that box for heat dissipation Can you confirm if the above arrangement explained in video run for longer time I mean in terms of years? Using above method, the exhaust fan will run during the day and help cool the solar inverter and turn off automatically when sun sets I cannot use existing panels output as it produces higher voltage So I am planning to buy 40-50Wp panel, a buck converter and a 12V dc fan All I need to understand is will this setup be sustainable for longer period of time

Some capacitors would be nice, so your motor runs more consistent and you can store a littlebit of charge For the big clouds 😜

Thank you so much I bought a couple 100 watt panels from Costco to run fans in a remote shed But the seller "Coleman" says these are 12 volt battery chargers and are not meant to run a motor unless it's hooked up to a battery This Buck converter might just work:)

That's bullshit - it won't damage the motor, because the panel has internal resistance of 2-4ohms so voltage will drop as soon as the load is connected

I am building a solar kiln and have 4 radiator clutch fans i removed from cars They are 12v dc There are 5 fan motors in total I have a total of 200w of solar panels ([1]100w[4]25w)brWhat would be there correct way to wire the fans so that they only blow when the sun is out? In my current set up, i have 3 fans wired together that hook to a 100w panel I have the other 2 fans wired together and into the remaining [4]25w panelsbrI tested the 2 different connections with a battery and they worked Tomorrow i will see if the panels power the fans properly
